Nottoway Park (9601 Courthouse Road in Vienna):
Below are directions to the park from 66W. If you're
taking 495, take the exit for 66W, toward
Manassas/Front Royal (it's Exit 9 if you're coming
from Maryland).
66W to the Nutley St. exit (Exit 62). Go towards
Vienna. At the third light, take a left onto
Courthouse Rd. Drive down a little and you'll see
basketball courts and a totem pole (yes, totem pole)
on your left. The field is behind the basektball
courts. It's about 1 mile from the 66 exit to the
park.

Shaolin Stadium (25th and N St, NW, Washington DC):
Below are directions from Virginia and 66E, since
that is where I drive from.
66E into DC. Stay left on the Roosevelt Bridge onto
the E Street Exit. Stay left towards the Kennedy
Center and Whitehurst Freeway. Stay in the right lane
and the Pennsylvania Exit. This drops you onto L St.
Turn left at the stop sign onto 26th St. Turn Right
onto Pennsylvania Ave and an immediate left onto 25th
Street. A block and a half up, on your left, is the
stadium

Alexandria Field #2 (corner of West and Queen in Alexandria, near Old Town):
From 495, take exit 177B (to Rt. 1 North). Merge into left lane. Drive past
about three lights and take a left onto Cameron St. (It's the street after
King St.) At the second light, take a right onto N. West St. The field is on
the left, behind the Alexandria Head Start School. Park on the street.
From GW Parkway, , drive into Old Town and take a right onto King St. Take a
right at West St. (there's a NY Deli and a jewelry store/Hard Times Café on
the corner). As you cross Cameron St., you'll see the field on your left,
behind the Alexandria Head Start School. Park on the street.

Alternatives to Alexandria fields #1 and #2:
Daingerfield Island
From the North: (e.g., 14th St Bridge or further north):Take GW-Parkway
South, and make the first left after National Airport. There's a brown sign
that says something like "Marina / Daingerfield Island", and you make a left
there, crossing northbound GW traffic, into the part area. The field is
immediately to the right (see map below). Parking is just past the field on
the right.
or
Jones Point, Alexandria
From The Beltway / 495 - From 495 east or west: Take the Route 1 north exit
into Alexandria City. Turn right on Franklin. Drive 3 blocks to Royal. Turn
right onto Royal. Proceed to the entrance of Jones Point Park (underneath
I-495). Turn left into Jones Point Park. Proceed thru the park to fields on
right - fields are located south of 495 along the river.
From the North, DC, Alexandria - Drive down George Washington Parkway thru
Alexandria to Franklin. Turn left onto Franklin. Drive 3 blocks to Royal.
Turn right onto Royal. Proceed to the entrance of Jones Point Park
(underneath I-495). Turn left into Jones Point Park. Proceed thru the park
to fields on right - fields are located south of 495 along the river.
From King Street Metro - It's a long walk - probably 1.5 to 2.0 miles. Allow
30 minutes to walk to the park from the Metro. Walk along King Street to Old
Towne until Royal Ct. Turn right onto Royal. Proceed along Royal to the
entrance of Jones Point Park (underneath I-495). Turn left into Jones Point
Park. Proceed thru the park to fields on right - fields are located south of
495 along the river.

Alternative to Nottoway (in case you get the boot):
There's a softball field behind my house right off of
Rt. 50. Again, the field is technically closed, but
it's hidden so we could try to sneak in a game. It's
about 2 miles from Nottoway.
Coming from Nottoway Park, take a right onto Nutley.
Drive all the way to the end of Nutley (six lights,
not including the one at Courthouse/Nutley) which runs
into Rt. 50 (also known as Arlington Rd.). Take a
right onto Rt. 50, drive past first light and take
immediate right. The entrance is a little camouflaged
(you'll see a sign for rent and one for an apartment
complex, something circle; if you reach Pickett St.
you've gone too far). The park/softball field is on
the left.

Here's another alternative:
Thoreau Middle School --
66W to Nutley St. exit (exit 62) toward Fairfax. At
Lee Highway (two or three lights down; you'll see the
Pan Am shopping center across the street on the left)
take a left. take another left at Cedar Lane. Drive
roughly about 2 miles (you'll go over 66) and you'll
see Thoreau on your right.
